The cantina Carlo Pellegrino was founded in 1880. The quality of its products, its investments and its commercial dynamism make it the most important Sicilian cellar today. Its vineyards extend over 400 hectares and it has two sites: - the main cantina, located in the city of Marsala, which covers 30,000 m2 and has a storage of 200,000 hectolitres including 40,000 in oak barrels. It produces Marsala wines (Pellegrino) and other typical Sicilian wines (Duca di Castelmonte). The cantina of Pantelleria is located on the island of the same name, which produces the best Moscato and Passito di Pantelleria.
